After graduating from Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1986, he went on to complete his specialty training between 1992 and 1996 at Vienna University in Austria, on ophthalmology and surgery. He received his equivalence certificate from Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine.
Between 1997 and 2014, he held office as the director of the ophthalmology clinic. Since 2014, he has a consulting room at Doktorlar Merkezi (Physicians Center).He is also a faculty member at İstanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University’s ophthalmology clinic.

Operations
He specializes in cataract operations and laser operations. Cataract surgery is performed via Femtosecond Laser and Phaco. It is a stitch-free method, and the recovery period is very short. Following cataract surgery, patients with myopia or hypermetropia can get rid of their glasses thanks to smart intra-ocular lenses (multifocal).
Myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism and presbyopia treatments. These treatments employ advanced technologies (LASIK, ILASIK, NO TOUCH, SMILE and PRK). Ofluoğlu is highly experienced in corneal diseases (Keratoconus) as well. If the patient’s eyes are not suitable for laser treatment than the ICL treatment is utilized instead.
